Tillandsia
Ionantha Ron is named for the Florida Tillandsia grower, Ron Herndon. This type
of T. Ionantha is endemic to Mexico. The T. Ionantha Ron has a thicker, more
succulent leaf that blushes a vibrant red when in bud. When in bud it will grow
a rich purple flower that will produce a bright yellow anther. T. Ionantha Ron
is visually appealing and the color is long lasting. The size range is 2-3”. This
plant will look great on display and in arrangements. Available in bud and in
color.
