Tillandsia Subsecundifolia
Tillandsia Subsecundifolia is native to Brazil. This hardy air plant has a recurving shape to it that makes it appealing. This Tillandsia was formerly known as T. Recurvifolia v Subsecundifolia before it earned its own name on the Tillandsia line up. This fun air plant has succulent, velvety, silver foliage which tells us that this plant enjoys high light and can withstand long periods with little to no rain.

Tillandsia specimens are natural colonies of Tillandsia forming a clump or ball; this is how they grow in nature. These specimens are hung by a galvanized steel wire, so they do not take up precious floor or bench space. They add a dramatic effect in any greenhouse, patio, or bright window of your house. Due to their size, specimens handle neglect much better than single plants and require less care. The specimens bloom with many bloom spikes forming a hanging ball of color. These natural colonies of Tillandsias have mature plants, pups, and old mother plants with spent blooms on them.

Tillandsia Tectorum Crown Royal has super slow growing with extreme recurved leaves. The 9” plus have super recurved leaves that have been growing for over 20 years. The smaller ones will take several years to develop this shape.
