Chartacea
Chartacea is an interesting and long growing
type (called caulescent) air plant with native ranges from Columbia to Peru.
Often called the “snake” of air plants due to its caulescent growth generating
pups up and along the sides of the mother plant. The leaves and stem are firm
which give it a healthy and ridged appearance.
The top tip of T. Chartacea is always growing up towards the light and when
hung upside down it will eventually turn itself up to face the light. Now
